Nowruz Choreography Series | Wednesdays, 6:15-7:45pm | 6-Week Series, February 4th - March 11th

$150.00

Dates: Wednesdays, February 5th-March 12th | 6:15-7:45pm
Dancers can arrive as early as 6pm to warm-up and be ready to start promptly at 6:15pm.

Level: Intermediate/Advanced Adventurous beginners welcome!

Nowruz marks the transition from winter into spring. At this time, with the ongoing revolution in Iran, this Nowruz may feel complicated, layered with grief, rage, exhaustion, and hope. Rather than insisting on joy, this work invites space for whatever is present in the body as we move together.

Over the six weeks, the series will be structured a bit differently. Alongside learning choreography, you’ll be guided through improvisational exercises that allow you to generate movement from personal experience, memory, and other sources of inspiration. The goal is not only to learn material, but to develop your own voice within it.

Price: $150
