About the Series:
Learn Persian Dance technique and a full choeography to add to your dance repertoire. Class starts with a full-body warm-up and then moves into specific movements, combinations and spins central to Central Asian Dance. Combinations taught will build to a beautiful lyrical choreography.
Bio:
Natalie has been dancing for more than 18 years, and has devoted her life to the study of dance from Tajikistan, Iran, & Uzbekistan. She has received grants & awards to study dance and conduct dance research in Uzbekistan & Tajikistan. Natalie is the Assistant Director of Ballet Afsaneh, Program director & teacher in the Afsaneh Dance Academy, and choreographer for Sorayya Dance Company out of UC Berkeley. Her hope is to share the beauty in these regions of the world through dance!
