Wan-Chao Chang
Wan-Chao Chang grew up in Taiwan where she received her early dance training. She came to America in 1995 to study and pursue her dance career. Wan-Chao has performed with various ensembles such as Westwind International Folk Ensemble , Harsanari, Lestari Indonesia, Gamelan Sekar Jaya, EMBAJE, and the Chinese Folk Dance Association. She also taught classes and workshops internationally particular in Taiwan and Indonesia. Chang holds a Bachelor degree in Management, a B.A. in Dance Ethnology and a M.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts. She currently performs as Principal Dancer with Ballet Afsaneh and Gadung Kasturi. She also acts as Guest Choreographer with Presidio Dance Theatre and Westwind, which she directed in 2001-2002.
